The EverQuest 2 Team Announces OBT Dates for the Gerion's Reckoning Update

The EverQuest II team has announced the open beta testing date for their next update, Gerion's Reckoning. From March 10th to 23rd, players will have the opportunity to see what awaits them in this content update and help the developers finalize it.

It appears this update will feature Cthurath the Devourer, who led the campaign to Oblivion in the previous expansion, Rage of Cthurath. However, to participate in the beta testing, players need to own the Rage of Cthurath expansion.

As usual on such test servers, progress is exclusive to the beta server and will not be transferred to the main character, but players' main characters can be copied to the beta version to try their hand.

When the time comes, EverQuest II players will be able to download the beta via the launcher; details will be published in the official announcement and will appear later.
