Spring, the leader of the Squad and the terror of all Snowy rallies, will become a new character in Genshin Impact

The developers of Genshin Impact have officially announced Vesna — a new character who will appear in the game in update 3.1.

The Vil Strivozha clan settled in those snowy reaches long before the trouble began. Their people learned to stubbornly endure storms and blizzards; over time they collected honors tied to survival and craft. Vesna fits the old name in more ways than one: striking at a glance, poised in many moments, prone to carrying herself with a kind of quiet dignity — though not always.

She’s also wilful, a bit rough around formalities, and delightfully direct. Her bluntness frequently slides into unexpected antics (esp. when she’s bored). Once she pushed a train well beyond the usual limits and, unsurprisingly, was banned from operating vehicles for a while. Another favorite pastime: slipping the sourest lemon slices onto colleagues’ plates and watching faces contort — yes, she does this on purpose.

Still, flighty doesn’t mean aimless. Vesna commands the Druzhina — an elite squad that answers directly to the Queen (i.e., she’s not just a prankster; she’s in charge). Whether that makes her more endearing or more terrifying depends on who you ask.
