Soulframe Developers Shared Details About Upcoming Game Updates

Ahead of Preludes 13, the next stage of early access for Soulframe, the recent developer stream showcased upcoming changes, including a major overhaul of the attribute system and much more.

The biggest change for all players is the Prism system, designed to simplify the traditional RPG attribute system known as Virtues into more specialized options. Now, instead of manually inputting numbers for each desired change, players will equip prisms with preset attributes that will help them fit into their role faster.

As part of these changes, prisms will now more directly influence Pacts, with each slot being dependent on Virtues. These Virtues will now have a more direct and narrow impact on Pacts, with their effects tied to only one Virtue rather than spreading across Pacts.

For those who love customization, the new Preludes will introduce a sort of "version 1.0" of appearance changes. Players will be able to choose from five face options and a variety of hairstyles, which can be dyed as desired. Unfortunately, makeup has been temporarily removed, but it will return in a future update with more options.

The game world will also receive updates and changes. A new Sparrow's Tale will appear, and regarding Tales, the World Tree will soon feature a list and a map indicating where players can complete these Tales, making navigation and quest completion easier.

As for the combat system, a bear named Vadagar will be added to the game as an enemy to fight, and the developers will improve the combat system to make it smoother.

Additionally, in the full version of the stream, the Soulframe team presented new locations, future content, and some graphical updates, along with the usual assortment of interesting concept art and developer works.
