Sony May Return to Exclusives, Leaving Only Live-Service Games for PC

In November of last year, well-known insider and Windows Central editor Jez Corden reported that Sony allegedly wanted to stop porting its AAA games to PC. Later, he admitted he wasn't entirely sure about the source's credibility, for which he faced criticism.

But here's the interesting part — several months later, the much more authoritative journalist and insider Jason Schreier made a similar claim. According to him, the ports aren't bringing Sony the expected revenue, while simultaneously undermining trust among PlayStation owners. Therefore, in the near future, the company might leave only live-service games for PC owners, while playing AAA titles would only be possible on consoles.

Marvel’s Wolverine is cited as an example. Yes, as we recall, an early PC build was part of the Insomniac Games leak. But, as they say, that was so long ago that Sony could very well abandon the port.
