Slay the spire 2 launches into steam early access on march 5th

Independent studio Mega Crit has announced the exact launch date for Slay the Spire 2 — the sequel to the famous card-based roguelike Slay the Spire will launch into Steam Early Access in just two weeks, specifically on March 5th.

As before, players are invited to explore the mysteries of the Spire, which has reopened its gates after 1000 years of oblivion. Gamers will take control of both familiar and completely new heroes with their own decks. Slay the Spire 2 can be played solo or in co-op for up to four players.

Ally with the Spire's most ancient inhabitants, visit brand new locations, defeat mighty foes, and uncover secrets from the Spire's deep past.

You can begin your ascent alone or assemble a team of up to 4 players to overcome the Spire's hardships in the new co-op mode. New multiplayer cards await, allowing you to leverage the strengths of each team member...

The Spire is endlessly mutable, and not just in its architecture! Throughout Early Access, we will add and balance even more content: cards, events, enemies, environments. Join our journey early and contribute to the development of the Spire!

Initially, Slay the Spire 2 will release only on PC, and after the full release, the developers will gradually expand the list of target platforms. The game is planned to remain in Early Access for about two years. Russian text localization is available.
