Shooter WARDOGS has raised a million, but is still only on the Steam wishlist

The first-person tactical shooter WARDOGS has been gathering attention well ahead of release — and not just a little. Six months after its first showcase, the title landed on the Steam wishlist of more than one million users. The devs posted the milestone on social media and offered thanks.

Now the team is asking fans to keep an eye on the project and to sign up for the beta via this post. Full launch is set for September 10, but early access kicks off in August for some players. Pre-orders are open: placing one guarantees entry to the closed beta beginning August 21 — that's how the devs are handling early access, i.e., pre-order = closed-beta invite.
