Apex Legends to Leave Switch in Six Months

Support for Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch will be discontinued on August 4, 2026, coinciding with the launch of Season 30. The game will remain available on all other platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and the new Nintendo Switch 2.

Until that date, Switch owners can play without restrictions, but the purchase of the in-game currency Apex Coins will be blocked. Already purchased coins can be spent, and any remaining balance will be transferable to a Nintendo Switch 2 account.

All progress—achievements, cosmetics, and purchased items—is tied to the EA account and will be automatically available on the new console.

The version for Nintendo Switch 2 was released in August 2025 and will continue to receive full support.
