Sales of the Nintendo Switch 2 have reached 17.37 million consoles and 37.93 million games, surpassing the DS.
Switch 2 has been on sale for seven months, and Nintendo has shared fresh sales data as of December 31, 2025: the Japanese company has sold 17.37 million consoles and 37.93 million games for it. The quarterly increase was 7.01 million and 17.31 million respectively. It's still too early to write off the first Switch — it is now Nintendo's best-selling console, having surpassed the DS: lifetime sales total 155.37 million devices and 1.5 billion games.
