Russia's YouTube killer, RuTube, has launched its own creator ranking system

Russian YouTube killer RuTube has launched its own creator rating system RuTube has introduced a new level system for creators based on viewing metrics. The levels, named after video resolutions (720, 1080, 2K, 4K), unlock access to advanced features.

For example, 2K status requires 600 hours of uploaded content and more than 45,000 views. It gives the right to upload files up to 50 GB, priority promotion, and access to a closed club with a manager.

The highest 4K level requires over 50,000 hours of content and more than 2 million views. Such authors will be featured in thematic selections on the main page. Status updates will be quarterly.
