Return to Classic Locations: Ossuary, Castle Highhold, and Other Dungeons Will Be Available in the EverQuest 2 Update

For the MMORPG EverQuest 2, an open beta for the Revelations of Malice update is now running; it lasts until August 24, and the full patch is slated for August 25. FYI, joining the beta requires ownership of the Rage of Cthurath expansion (exp.).

Raids return in force — new raid dungeons are a headline feature — and the update also brings fresh missions plus new collections. There are heroic and solo variants of Fabled dungeons, and several long-missed sites will be back in the wild (e.g., Ossuary, Castle Highhold, Ssraeshza Temple, Zavith’loa).

Darkpaw has tucked useful loot into the beta build to help players gear up for what follows. Also: the Oceansfull Festival is underway at the same time, ending August 20 — oddly convenient timing for anyone who likes to multitask in-game.
