Resident Evil: Requiem Will Be Without Chris and Ada — Insider Denies Popular Rumors

In recent weeks, rumors have been circulating around Resident Evil Requiem about the possible appearance of Chris Redfield and Ada Wong — either in the main storyline or in future DLC.

However, well-known insider Dusk Golem stated that he never claimed Chris or Ada would appear in the new installment of the series. Moreover, the insider doubts their presence in the game at all — at least in any significant role. At most, there might be minor mentions, but not full-fledged participation in Requiem's events.

At the same time, the source emphasizes that Capcom traditionally hides the cast of characters until the very release, so speculation arises around almost every numbered entry. Nevertheless, based on current information, fans should not expect Chris Redfield or Ada Wong.

Dusk Golem’s words should be treated with caution, but he has repeatedly confirmed his awareness specifically within the Resident Evil series — in particular, he was one of the first to report on Leon’s role in Requiem. Recently, he also revealed a possible development of a Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake.

The release of Resident Evil: Requiem is scheduled for February 27 on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at a price of $70. The game will have a full Russian localization, but a demo version will not be released before launch.
