Remedy released patch 1.4.0 for CONTROL Resonant with a "New Game++" mode.

CONTROL Resonant Update 1.4.0 Now Available, Adds New Game++ Mode

Remedy Entertainment has released patch 1.4.0 for its mystical action title CONTROL Resonant, delivering on the update promised by the Finnish studio last week. The patch became available for download today, October 1, 2026.

The headline feature of the release is the addition of "New Game++" mode. With this mechanic, players can restart the story campaign unlimited times, and all of Dylan's accumulated abilities carry over in full into every subsequent playthrough.

Beyond the new progression system, the developers also performed extensive technical work, squashing a significant number of bugs. They further made important adjustments to the user interface and general gameplay elements, aiming to make the experience smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable for players.
