Reanimal horror game gets a trailer with rave reviews from journalists.
Battle with Robo-Betty in the trailer for the noir boomer-shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire
The hand-drawn action game MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has received another gameplay video — studio Fumi Games showed a boss fight against Robo-Betty. The battle is divided into three phases.
MOUSE is a black-and-white adventure inspired by classic 1930s cartoons. Let's recall the game's premise:
Meet Jack Pepper: a former war hero turned private detective in a city where danger can lurk even in a mouse hole. A simple missing persons case rapidly spirals into a tangled web of intrigue involving corruption, kidnappings, and murder. Investigate the grim underbelly of Mousburgh, battle heavily armed gangs and crooked cops, and find clues to unravel a conspiracy buried beneath layers of city secrets.
The developers promise:
- Over 20 levels, including gloomy streets, film studios, an opera house, toxic swamps, and sewers.
- More than a dozen unique weapons and equipment items.
- Destructive "power-ups" capable of turning the tide of any fight.
- Metroidvania elements with unlockable abilities.
- An original jazz soundtrack.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire launches on March 19 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. A Russian text translation is confirmed.
