Rayman Legends Retold received a large review video

The developers of Rayman Legends Retold have published a new trailer that outlines features of the upcoming release, mixing refreshed versions of familiar content with entirely new additions.

The game’s central hub will be the Tree of Tranquility, which serves as the point from which characters move around the world map using fast travel or dragon flights. Alongside returning worlds, the title introduces a brand-new realm of the living dead that comes with its own distinct gameplay mechanics. The platformer also supports cooperative play for up to four players.

Creators say the release will include a large number of new costumes, upgraded mini-games and challenges, and several unique levels designed specifically for this version.

Early online comparisons between Rayman Legends Retold and the original note that graphics and animations have been modernized, though some commentators feel certain locations have lost some of their visual expressiveness and interest.

Rayman Legends: Retold was officially presented during State of Play. After a delay, the game is scheduled to launch on December 3 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2.
