Puzzle Order of the Sinking Star by Jonathan Blow Will Also Come to Switch 2

The puzzle adventure Order of the Sinking Star is heading beyond PC. Publisher Arc Games and studio Thekla announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version and shared an overview video; the PC page remains on Steam.

Expect a world where odd magics mix with clockwork gizmos and monsters that don't behave like textbook enemies. Four distinct realms await, each bringing its own rules, characters, and threads of story — and then those threads tangle. You can backtrack later (e.g., return to earlier areas to see how new interactions change things), revisit encounters, and watch puzzles shift as the worlds collide.

Thekla's founder, Jonathan Blow, says the game contains north of a thousand puzzles. He insists the aim was not to manufacture frustration; instead, they wanted puzzles that intrigue rather than punish. There's a narrative too — slowly, piece by piece, you'll learn what the titular Order of the Sinking Star is about. I admit that claim about quantity raises an eyebrow — more puzzles doesn't always mean more fun — but it's an intriguing promise.

Russian localization is confirmed for Order of the Sinking Star.
