PTSD ordered, captains? — HoYoverse released a Honkai: Star Rail short film dedicated to Himeko

The developers of Honkai: Star Rail put out a short animated piece called "Your End, My Beginning" — it's about Himeko.

I sometimes wake up with images of those Fantana Games still stuck in my head. If you'd lived through that, maybe things would look different now; who knows. Motoko, I'm back — and that line hits oddly hard.

The clip focuses on Himeko and Makoto and the Star Express. HoYoverse leaned on the same visual-treatment they used in Honkai Impact 3rd — a choice that, for many long-time Hyperion captains, read less like tribute and more like a jolt of old trauma. Also: the soundtrack leans on Nightglow motifs (e.g., the cue from the "Final Lesson"), so be warned — it drags a lot of memory along with it.
