The psychological horror game The 9th Charnel, about a scientist surviving in a terrifying valley, has been released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. To mark the occasion, publisher SOEDESCO has released a spine-chilling launch trailer for the creation of studio Saikat Deb.

The plot revolves around geneticist Michael J. Jones and his colleagues. Following an accident, they find themselves in a place full of mysteries and dangerous enemies. The protagonist must find his friends and unravel the mystery of the valley.

The gameplay combines resource management, puzzle-solving, combat with enemies, and stealth. All of this is set in a tense atmosphere where horror is amplified by a scarcity of supplies, frightening scenery, and fitting sound design.

The developers promise an interesting story with well-developed characters and deep immersion into the game's world. The latter is intended to be enhanced by the first-person perspective and realistic graphics.
