Pre-registration has started for RPG MIRESI: Invisible Future from the creators of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE

Smilegate has opened pre-registration for the RPG MIRESI: Invisible Future ahead of the game's showing at Anime Expo 2026. Attendees at the convention will get a first chance to play; Smilegate also said it will run special Anime Expo activities tied to the pre-registration campaign. If you sign up at the MIRESI booth you’ll get exclusive rewards — specifics haven't been shared yet, so there's a bit of suspense.

Development is being handled by Control9, a studio formed by creators who worked on Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Seven Knights 2 — aka several familiar faces from those projects. MIRESI is being built for PC and mobile (i.e., the usual platforms), release date still TBA. Artwork comes from Hen-seop Kim, whose past credits include NIKKE and other anime-style work; that visual direction is clear in the teasers, though how it ties to gameplay remains to be seen.

The setting mixes time and space in ways the blurb leans into: you play the "Advisor," moving with characters such as Ende, Tieria, and Itsuka to try and prevent their era’s destruction. Combat blends real-time flow with turn-based choices (a hybrid system), putting weight on positioning and movement during fights while weaving time-travel themes into mechanics.
