Polish "Skyrim" Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon celebrates anniversary with a nice gift for gamers

The devs behind the dark RPG Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon marked the first anniversary of the full v1.0 release. They thanked the community and — yes — promised a free expansion as a gift.

A quick trip down memory lane: the game first showed up in Steam Early Access (EA) in spring 2023, basically a shaky skeleton full of bugs and napkin sketches. Over more than 2 yrs of work alongside players the team rewrote the story. The UI was changed. Core mechanics got a serious rethink.

To celebrate, the studio posted archival concept art and a trailer heavy on nostalgia — little windows back to the project’s rougher, earlier days.
