Intel Panther Lake iGPU Catches Up to Xbox Series S in Alan Wake 2

The new Core Ultra X9 388H processor with the Arc B390 graphics core managed to demonstrate performance on par with (and even slightly above) the Xbox Series S console in one of the most demanding modern games — Alan Wake 2. Testing was conducted on a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 laptop. For the purity of the experiment, the graphics settings on the PC were brought as close as possible to the console ones.

When TDP is limited to 30W, drops below 30 frames per second become more frequent.

Of course, this integrated graphics is still very far from a full-fledged console.
