Path of Exile developers will urgently revamp the "Flameblast Curse" following player feedback
The devs of Path of Exile posted a quick wrap-up of the "Curse of Allflame" launch — and they're already lining up a major patch. Reaction from the community made it clear: some of the new mechanics felt stingy, and a few systems need more than a tweak.
Planned adjustments include:
- more valuable loot overall (better drop rates in key encounters)
- increased frequency of chests containing currency and maps
- buffed rewards from voyage modifiers
- a redo of route generation so runs feel less random
- and fixing the awkward placement of the Allflame Lantern
The team also wants to make it easier to unlock progression features, initiate expeds, and follow the current voyage route in-game. Aside from sailing, other areas will get attention: mercenaries (mercs) will be stronger, the new Luminary class will see tweaks, Abyss rewards will be redesigned, and a bundle of serious bugs will be addressed — crashes, skills behaving oddly, minimap problems, and league-related issues among them.
They stress this is only part of what's planned; hotfixes will arrive piecemeal as they're ready. If you want the source notes, check the official post on Steam.
