PARIVISION's Counter-Strike 2 coach named the team's main goal for IEM Kraków
FURIA CS2 Captain Reveals Reason for Conflict Between YEKINDAR and PARIVISION Coach
FURIA Esports Counter-Strike 2 captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has spoken about the conflict between his former teammate Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis and PARIVISION coach Dastan "dastan" Akbayev.
Timeline of the Conflict
According to Toledo, it all started with an unfortunate joke during a break. YEKINDAR decided to tease a former colleague from the region and showed him the middle finger. The coach's reaction was harsh.
- dastan's Reaction: The coach told Mareks to "joke like that with your friends" and did not appreciate the humor.
- Failed Reconciliation: Later, Dastan approached the player to smooth things over before the match, but the conversation again went the wrong way, leading to a verbal altercation.
"These things happen, but I don't think it was malicious... I was just sitting and watching, it was all happening in Russian, and molodoy says: 'God, you should know what they just said,'" FalleN recounted.
Post-Match Demarche
The tension spilled over into unsportsmanlike behavior at the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 arena. After PARIVISION defeated FURIA, during the traditional handshake, YEKINDAR demonstratively ignored dastan, shaking hands with all other members of the opposing team.
Outcome
The conflict has already been resolved. Later, Dastan Akbayev confirmed on his social media the fact of the argument due to the pre-game incident but reported that he and Mareks have already made up. The coach emphasized that he holds no global animosity towards the Latvian esports athlete.
The day before, the updated PARIVISION roster successfully debuted at the tournament in Krakow, securing a hard-fought victory over the Norwegian club HEROIC. The decisive contribution to the team's success was made by AWPer Jame and rifler nota, who showed outstanding individual statistics in the protracted series.
Earlier, well-known insider Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov made a tough comparison of the two organizations, calling PARIVISION "the Virtus.pro of a sane person." The scout noted that the club wisely managed its three-million-dollar budget, managing to assemble a competitive roster thanks to the right personnel decisions.
