Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen players can expect a Summoner rework and a new dungeon.
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Players Await Summoner Rework and New Dungeon
The Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen team is preparing to release a new update focused on reworking the Summoner class and adding a new dungeon called "Crypt of Night." The patch is currently undergoing internal testing and is planned for release next week, although the developers note that the timeline may change if any critical issues are discovered.
The developers are working hard to expand the game, focusing on class identity. In the upcoming update, the Summoner will receive a significant overhaul that will change how players interact with their pets from the very beginning of the game. Characters will now have access to both Fury and Zephyr companions, reinforcing the design direction that emphasizes active pet management and tactical control during combat, rather than passive support.
The update also includes several quality-of-life improvements, such as:
- floating combat text for pets,
- customizable spell bar placement,
- the ability to equip gear directly onto pets through simplified management.
Players will also gain access to ability sets, allowing them to create up to four customizable configurations that can be renamed and swapped using hotkeys.
In terms of content, the "Crypt of Night" dungeon has been added as the first in a planned series of crypts. These crypts are designed to offer a different style of dungeon exploration, focusing on danger, discovery, and team coordination. If you're interested in clearing it, you'll have to find its location on your own, as the team is intentionally not revealing it.
Rounding out the update are some UI adjustments, helpful world fixes such as terrain collision and zone boundary behavior corrections, expanded loot tables, and, of course, several bug fixes related to pets and NPC interactions.
