NVIDIA Showcases DLSS 4 Potential on RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards

As part of the launch of the second season of Battlefield 6, NVIDIA has unveiled impressive results for its DLSS 4 technology. Particular focus is placed on the Multi Frame Generation component, which, when combined with Super Resolution, delivers a significant performance boost on graphics cards from the RTX 50 series lineup.

According to the developer's data, this combination of technologies enables up to a 3.8x increase in performance. Examples from Battlefield 6 demonstrate specific metrics: desktop PCs with the corresponding graphics cards can achieve up to 460 FPS, while laptops can reach up to 310 FPS. The charts and tests presented by the company clearly confirm these figures.

This week, the list of games supporting DLSS 4 is expanding by three titles, with one of them receiving the technology "out of the box" today. The first in line is NORSE: Oath of Blood, which has supported DLSS Frame Generation and Super Resolution since its release. Owners of RTX 50xx graphics cards will be able to activate the full functionality of DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation via the NVIDIA App, as well as update Super Resolution to version 4.5.

Equally notable is the project Star Trek: Voyager — Across the Unknown from studios Gamexcite and Daedalic Entertainment. The game boasts native support for DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation from launch. Additionally, it features DLAA for high-quality anti-aliasing and NVIDIA Reflex for minimizing latency. Through the NVIDIA App, users will be able to update Super Resolution to version 4.5.

A similar level of support awaits the game Styx: Blades of Greed — it will also receive full integration with DLSS 4.

NVIDIA emphasizes that DLSS 4 is not just a tool for instant frame rate improvement, but a comprehensive technology designed to unlock the potential of the new generation of graphics cards. However, it's important to note that the Multi Frame Generation functions are available exclusively on RTX 50 series graphics cards.
