Once Human's Autumn Update Adds Animal Breeding, Photo Events, and Free Cosmetic Changes

Once Human is rolling out a sizeable autumn update packed with seasonal events, new gameplay systems, and cosmetic options. Headlining the content is the Golden Autumn Harvest event, which runs from September 29 through October 14. During this window, players can collect golden leaves, earn permanent cosmetic rewards, and claim a special gift that lets them pick one of eight Deviations. Three of those — Labrador, Blackback, and Doberman — are only returning to the game for a limited time. Taking part in the update also yields 1000 Starchrom, 100 Mitsuko's Mark, and additional rewards, including a container offering a choice of one of three dogs.

A separate event, Frames of Wonder, gives players daily photo assignments and a chance to visit the event island to ride animals.

Cosmetic customization is expanding as well: 23 outfit sets now support Custom Dye, and altering a character's appearance or dyeing their hair no longer costs anything.

Animal handling is getting an upgrade through targeted breeding in territories, where players can manually choose the parents of offspring. The Beastmaster also gains the ability to summon three animals simultaneously rather than just one.

Elsewhere in the update, Custom Server receives new features, the Lightforge Loot Crate makes its autumn return, and account top-ups come with bonuses.

Looking further ahead, the next major update lands October 22 at 02:00, bringing the ocean scenario Isles of Abyss along with a standalone RaidZone map.
