On March 26, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will land on Switch 2.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Lands on Switch 2 on March 26th

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have set the date for the release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage on Switch 2. The fighting game will arrive on its new platform in a couple of months — on March 26th.

An open "beta" for Switch 2 will run from February 19th to 24th. A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to participate.

The developers promise full support for cross-platform play between all platforms. Furthermore, the game will receive rollback netcode technology for minimal delay, new moves and combos, balance adjustments, and significant improvements to the training mode.

Pre-orders are already open — purchasing any edition early will grant a customization item. Additionally, the title will have a physical edition for Switch 2 (key card) for $50. The package will include swimsuit outfits from the 30th Anniversary Swimsuit Costume Set for all characters, a skin pack based on the Yakuza series, and more.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is already available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series — the release on these platforms happened last year.
