Publisher Limited Run Games and developer Bitmap Bureau have revealed the exact release date for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction. The new pixel-art side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the cult classic cartoon "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" launches on April 28th.

In the story, the treacherous Skeletor finds a powerful artifact known as the ancient Dragon Pearl of Destruction, which he uses in yet another attempt to plunge all of Eternia into eternal darkness. Standing against him, of course, will be the brave He-Man alongside his comrades.

The creators promise classic retro gameplay from the arcade era, 12 diverse levels, a rich arsenal of abilities and spells for the playable heroes, battles with famous villains from the cartoon series, and high-quality pixel art.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is announced for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, without Russian localization.
