NYOU and Gamania team up to launch MMORPG Bellatores in Asia
NYOU and Gamania Join Forces to Launch MMORPG Bellatores in Asia
South Korean studio NYOU has signed an agreement with major Taiwanese publisher Gamania to release the upcoming MMORPG Bellatores in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.
As part of the partnership, Gamania will fully undertake the game's localization, marketing promotion, and operational management, and will adapt the game mechanics to meet the demands of the local audience.
NYOU CEO Kim Jong Hwan emphasized the reliability of the partner, noting its proven expertise in localization, operations, and marketing. He expressed confidence that the collaboration will deliver to Taiwanese players the unique experience of an authentic PC MMORPG capable of transcending national and language barriers.
On behalf of Gamania, CEO Albert Liu stated that working with talented developers is a key part of the company's business strategy. He highlighted the significant global interest in Bellatores and assured that Gamania will leverage its accumulated experience to provide users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao with the highest quality gaming experience.
A distinctive feature of the project is that Bellatores is being developed exclusively as a classic MMORPG for personal computers—without attempts to adapt it for mobile platforms. This approach has already resonated internationally: last year, the studio signed an agreement with the Russian company Astrum Entertainment to release the game in Russia and the CIS. Preparations for the release in this region are currently in full swing—a closed beta test for Russian-speaking users is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
Interest in the project outside Korea was confirmed during the first Steam test conducted in August last year. Despite the absence of advertising campaigns and support only for the Korean language, the game attracted the attention of Western specialized media. An active player community shared gameplay recordings and discussed the features of the gameplay in detail.
Currently, the NYOU team is carefully analyzing the collected data and user feedback. The goal is to improve the game's balance and technical state before the next testing phase. The studio is preparing for large-scale tests and aims to release Bellatores as a full-fledged release by the end of 2026.
