An intrigue has arisen around the platform exclusivity of Lords of the Fallen 2. It was previously assumed that the PC version would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, but the actions of the head of CI Games hint at changes.

Marek Tymiński announced an increase in the company's capital to expand distribution channels ahead of major releases. Users in the comments started urging him to release the game on Steam, and the top manager acknowledged several such messages with likes.

Then he reposted a fan's post suggesting that the funds would be used to buy back the rights from Epic for release in other stores. Tymiński cryptically added that the company aims for maximum effect and will share news soon.
