Nicholas Cage to Appear in Call of Duty
Activision has revealed a mid‑season refresh for the fourth season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. It drops June 25. Expect new maps for multiplayer and Zombies, weapon changes and updated mods, plus a sun‑soaked spin on the Battle Royale and a handful of smaller updates. The surprise, though, is not a map or a gun — it’s an operator: the actor Nicholas Cage appears in his own likeness rather than as a film character. He’s part of the Summer of Action battle pass, which is split into free + paid tracks; the actor is exclusive to the premium track. There’s also an alternate outfit — a red leather jacket for the more theatrical players.
In a world where every second counts... one legend answers the call. Nick Cage joins the Summer of Action. Blockbuster battles. Absolute chaos. Arriving June 25 in Season 04 Reloaded 💥 pic.twitter.com/beiccDSRka — COD Live Seasons (June 22, 2026)
This isn’t the first time Cage has wandered into games. Back in 2023 he showed up in Dead by Daylight as a playable survivor — again, playing himself.
It’s possible this kind of cameo won’t become routine. After the announcement of Modern Warfare 4, reps from Activision and Infinity Ward said they plan to steer the franchise toward a grittier tone; future cosmetics should match the Modern Warfare atmosphere, so don’t expect more crossovers with pop stars or comic‑book figures, esp. ones that feel off‑key for a serious entry.
You can grind the battle pass to slip into the skin of Nicholas Cage in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Battle.net), Xbox, and PlayStation with Russian subtitles.
