New GreedFall: The Dying World Trailer Showcases the Beauty of the Gacane Continent

Publisher Nacon and developer Spiders have released a new trailer for GreedFall: The Dying World. This fresh video is dedicated to the diverse locations where the game's events unfold.

Until recently, GreedFall: The Dying World had the number "2" in its title, but it was decided to remove it, as this is not a sequel but a prequel, whose story begins 3 years before the events of the original GreedFall.

The main setting is the continent of Gacane, inspired by 17th-century Europe. Players will take on the role of a native of the island of Tir-Fradi, who is enslaved and ends up on the mainland during the spread of the Malichor plague. The hero manages to escape captivity, so now they must find allies and survive amidst political intrigue.

In terms of gameplay, the developers decided to move away from the action of the first part and focus on tactics with detailed companion control, reminiscent of Dragon Age: Origins.

GreedFall: The Dying World has been in Early Access on Steam since September 2024, and the full release is scheduled for March 12 (March 10 for current owners of the game). On the same day, it will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Russian text localization is available.
