NAVI and NIP Legend Left B8 Roster in Counter-Strike 2
B8 Esports in Counter-Strike 2 confirmed that Ukrainian AWPer Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov has left the club and is now a free agent.
The org put out a short message thanking him for his time on the roster and wishing him well as he looks for the next stop in his career — nothing flashy, just recognition of the chapter closing.
Headtr1ck came into B8 in Apr 2024 and logged 490 official maps with an avg. rating of 1.09, a respectable mark for a primary sniper. He was moved to the bench in Jan 2026 and saw only occasional match play after that; the club has now formalized the split.
Daniil’s pro path started on youth lineups, where his AWPing drew attention early on. He rose through the NAVI system — the junior project put him in the spotlight at tier-2 events — and later got a temporary turn on the main Natus Vincere roster, stepping in for Kostyliev. That stint came with visible pressure, but he held his own and stayed on teams’ radars.
A move to B8 was meant to give him steady minutes and room to grow; for a while it worked. Now that he’s free, scouts and GMs will likely weigh his NAVI background and the steady B8 numbers when considering offers, esp. from tier-2 / tier-1.5 squads across Europe. It’s one of those routine roster shakes — not dramatic, but it leaves a few open questions about where he goes next.
