MOUZ Academy CS2 player scores 67 kills and shatters shooter's historical record
Former Team Spirit CS2 Captain Explains Refusal to Commentate PGL Astana Tournament
Former long-time leader of Team Spirit's Counter-Strike 2 roster, Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov, candidly discussed his plans for the upcoming spring championship, PGL Astana 2026. The streamer admitted to his audience that it is highly likely he will not be able to work on covering this major event.
Issues with Broadcasts and Lack of Content
Vishnyakov detailed the factors preventing his trip to Kazakhstan. The main obstacle was the simple lack of official broadcasting rights for the matches from Astana for the streamer. Although the esports athlete considered the option of going as a guest on someone else's broadcast, his current priority is developing his personal channel. A trip to the arena would not allow him to stream consistently and generate sufficient content for his own subscribers.
Sponsorship Obligations and Past Experience in Romania
Partnership agreements also play a significant role in the content creator's schedule. Currently, Leonid is collaborating with the betting company BetBoom, which holds exclusive rights to the BLAST series tournaments. Therefore, the streamer is currently preparing for the BLAST Open Spring 2026 championship, which starts on March 18.
It is worth noting that Vishnyakov did attend the recent PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. However, on that occasion, he worked directly from the arena alongside Igor "SL4M" Sopov: the official cast was on his partner's channel, while chopper himself acted as an invited guest and filmed material for social media.
The large-scale PGL Astana 2026 tournament will take place from May 7 to 17, where the world's best teams will compete for a prize pool of $1.6 million.
Recently, a young talent from the MOUZ NXT roster, Adrian "xelex" Vince, forever etched his name into competitive Counter-Strike 2 history by delivering a truly insane individual performance. In an exhausting marathon on the map Anubis, the esports player scored an incredible 67 frags, effortlessly breaking the absolute record of the shooter's pro scene, which no one had been able to surpass for almost two years.
Earlier, the editorial team of the authoritative portal HLTV put the final point on the results of the past Romanian championship PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, naming the esports athletes with the most outstanding individual statistics. As a result, the symbolic tournament team for Counter-Strike 2 was completely monopolized by the grand final participants: three slots in the perfect five were taken by the undisputed champions from Team Vitality, and they were joined by a powerful duo from PARIVISION.
