Massive Entertainment has showcased a new "Survivors" mode for The Division 2 — a winter extraction mode set in snowy Washington. Alongside this, developers shared plans to expand the franchise.

In addition to continuing the main project, the studio is working on a separate mobile game inspired by the atmosphere and gameplay of the first installment.

Regarding the future of the series, franchise director Julian Gerighty confirmed that The Division 3 is in active development, although details such as setting, platforms, and release date are tightly under wraps. According to insider rumors, the project will not release before 2027.
