Microsoft Wants to Save Windows 11's Reputation — The OS Awaits a Major "Spring Cleaning"
It seems Microsoft has finally heard the users' angry feedback. The company has officially acknowledged the existence of trust issues with Windows 11 and declared 2026 as a time for "working on mistakes." Instead of pushing new AI features, developers will focus on fixing the operating system's fundamental shortcomings — performance, stability, and the intrusive interface.
The reason for this sharp change in course was the disastrous start to 2026. The January security update brought so many bugs that some users faced issues like being unable to properly shut down their computers or even experiencing system boot failures.
Against this backdrop, Microsoft has launched an internal process codenamed "rallying." Engineers are being pulled en masse from developing secondary features and reassigned to the front lines — to fix critical bugs and improve the overall reliability of the OS.
