Massive Entertainment is leading work on Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and The Division at Ubisoft.

Massive Entertainment is the new name for Ubisoft's Creative House 2, the company announced. The studio behind Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and The Division is now a full brand in its own right, with future plans centered on Tom Clancyʼs The Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and original titles such as March of Giants.

CEO Christophe Hartmann framed the change as a way to pool talent across locations: "Massive Entertainment has always been distinguished by passion, ambition, and incredible talent, and right now we are focused on what awaits us in the future. Uniting our teams under a single brand gives us the opportunity to bring together the creative energy and experience of specialists from Montreal, Paris, Sweden, and Toronto. This will make it possible to take iconic franchises to a new level, create new games and intellectual property, and also develop craftsmanship and technology."

The rebranding is part of a wider Ubisoft restructuring that split the publisher's operations into five "Creative Houses."
