Marvel Rivals sent superheroes to the beach and is giving away gifts for relaxation

The Marvel Rivals Summer Festival Rivals 2026 is live. A new, oddly serene map — Beach in the Bay of Hellfire — arrived with it, a place where you can step away from fights to fish, take photos, or just sit and listen to music (yes, really).

The event runs a bunch of limited-time activities that hand out rewards. Log in now and then, team up w/ friends for tasks, and check out the new map: participating gives you temporary event currency that expires when the festival ends, so spend it while you can.

Dev focus landed on the Fishing on Krakoa mini-event. Play it and you can claim the epic skin Fantastic Beach Dad for Mister Fantastic at no cost. Buying into the fishing club also opens two summer-themed costumes — one for Spider-Man and one for the Cloak & Dagger pair — if you want more vanity options (fyi, they’re themed).

In short: the usual planet-saving agenda feels paused this season. Instead the game leans into laid-back beach vibes, angling for skins and small pleasures — not a bad trade-off, IMO.
