Luna Abyss, a shooter with bullet-hell elements, received a new trailer revealing the release date
The developers of Luna Abyss say the game will arrive on May 21, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
It’s pitched as a fast-paced shooter fused with first-person platforming, set deep inside a sprawling underground megastructure. You take control of Fawkes, a prisoner pushed into that vast complex beneath a mimic moon called Luna, tasked with recovering lost tech and poking around the ruins of a colony swallowed by something known simply as the Abyss. An AI overseer, Ailin, watches your progress and pipes in as events unfold.
Most of the action happens in Greymont’s wreckage — a city that used to hum with life and is now threaded with strange lore (the Whip and the Allfather appear in logs, and there are hints of a Collective that ties things together). Gameplay skews toward mobility and tight aim: run, jump, dash across large arenas, then fight in a bullet‑hell cadence that prizes precision. Expect momentum to matter and some frantic timing; it’s the kind of thing that rewards stubbornness as much as skill.
