Life Simulator inZOI Will Get a School — New Mechanics to Be Revealed Next Week

The developers of inZOI are preparing a major gameplay expansion centered on the in-game school. In the coming week the studio plans a presentation where they'll show the school mechanics and related activities for the first time.

The team says the school system is in its final stages. Players will be able to attend classes and join everyday school life—clubs, class activities, downtime and the like (e.g., timetables, grading, small events)—which should add new layers to social interaction in the simulator. I’m curious to see how those pieces fit together (not that the idea itself is shocking).

The educational update is aimed for release by the end of May. Before shipping, the developers want broad community feedback so they can adjust balance and specific gameplay elements; expect playtests or feedback windows, etc. Of course, dates might slip.
