Level-5 and Aiming have unveiled the mobile football simulation game Inazuma Eleven: Cross, a new title in the popular universe about school kids who kick a ball using magic.

This free-to-play project, optimized for smartphones with intuitive command-based controls, currently does not have a release date, but the official announcement has been made. As a coach, players will be able to assemble a team and devise a strategy, but they cannot control individual footballers during matches. There is also an automatic mode.

Player data from Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road — whose sales, by the way, have exceeded 800,000 copies — will not be compatible with Cross.
