Konstantin Chaykin Debuts Atomic Heart Twin Watches in Limited Run

Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin has unveiled a limited mechanical watch collection inspired by the Twins from Atomic Heart. Two models make up the series — "Left Twin" and "Right Twin" — and each is capped at just 69 pieces.

What sets the watches apart is how they tell time. On the dial, the Twins are depicted with two synthetic rubies placed on their chests; these rubies act as the pointers on the hour and minute discs, so the wearer reads the time from their position.

The case measures 40 mm and is crafted from titanium. Driving the watch is an automatic caliber K.18-25, built on the Swiss La Joux-Perret G200 movement with an added indication module from Konstantin Chaykin's manufacture. Power reserve is listed at 68 hours.

Each model is priced at 2,080,000 rubles including VAT. Because the 69-piece limit is applied separately to the "Left" and "Right Twin," the full series could reach 138 watches.

Within Atomic Heart, the Twins are tied directly to ballet: their exoskeletons were designed from theatrical ballerina robots. They function as personal assistants and bodyguards to Dmitry Sechenov.
