Jennifer Stone to Star in Season 3 of "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place"

Jennifer Stone is set to return as Harper Finkle, appearing as a guest star in the third season of "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place".

Disney reps shared a set photo showing Stone beside Selena Gomez — a small reminder that, in the original run, Stone was Alex Russo’s best friend. Fans will notice familiar chemistry; some will cheer, others will roll their eyes.

The main cast includes David Henrie, Janice Leeann Brown, Alkeo Thile, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, and Mimi Gianopulos.

Story-wise, Billy (Brown) is still raw after Alex’s loss at the close of season two. Then the plot shifts: to save her mother, she must reunite with her father. The family, drawn back together to search for Alex, discovers that facing the darkness ahead means sticking close — no single hero, no easy shortcuts (i.e., everyone has to play a part).

The new episodes will also feature Gregg Sulkin, who played Mason Grayback in the original show — his return adds an edge, for better or worse.

Season three of "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" will be the final one.
