Investigating the Disappearance of a Magician in MOUSE: P.I. for Hire Gameplay

IGN shared a 12-minute video showcasing gameplay from the cartoonish shooter MOUSE: P.I. for Hire.

The clip is taken from the second mission, where the main character, private detective Jack Pepper, investigates his first case. Pepper, voiced by Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle), with the help of his companion, infiltrates a theater—a magician disappeared in the middle of a performance and never returned.

Jack will have to search for clues, take photographs, and punch gangsters in the face. Environmental objects will also help deal with opponents: explosive barrels and suspended anvils. Useful items like coins and armor can also be found on the location.

This very case of the missing magician will drag the detective into a tangled web of intrigue and force him to delve into the dark underbelly of Mouseburg.

The visual style of MOUSE: P.I. for Hire references 1930s animation with its black-and-white aesthetic. The project also has a noir flavor—a detective story can't do without it.

MOUSE: P.I. for Hire will be released on March 19th for PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Russian subtitles are available.
