"Everlasting Summer 2" Announced with Six-Fingered Girls

New events are brewing at the "Sovyonok" pioneer camp, as studio Soviet Games has officially announced a full-fledged sequel to "Everlasting Summer". "Everlasting Summer 2" is being developed for PC (Steam) and mobile devices.

The game does not have a release date yet, but that hasn't stopped the developers from opening pre-orders on their official website. The standard edition of the sequel is priced at 900 rubles, and for an early purchase, fans can expect a number of bonuses, such as having their name included in the credits, as well as free access to all future DLC, the soundtrack, and a digital artbook.

The announcement was accompanied by a debut cover, on which gamers can see a couple of heroines with six fingers on their hands. Oddly enough, the authors deny accusations of using neural networks, attributing the error to an oversight while working with image layers. Be that as it may, the damage to their reputation has already been done.

Let's return to the game itself. The premise of the sequel is practically identical to the original. In the leading role is Alexey — an ordinary guy from the 21st century who falls asleep on bus number 410 and wakes up in the camp familiar to us. After arriving at "Sovyonok", the hero will have to meet six new girls and find a way to return to his reality. The developers have announced some "serious changes" based on events from the first part.

The old story is finished, as we have repeatedly stated, but the (multi)Universe itself, "Sovyonok" itself, continues to live! It eagerly awaits new arrivals and new players who want to learn its story to the end. We have tried to maintain a delicate balance between romance, detective, and mysticism, seasoning it all with a pinch of humor.

Currently, the studio is working on a demo version, which will be released this spring. The free trial offers:

  • Meeting new and old characters;
  • Over 80,000 words of script;
  • More than an hour of new music (not by Sergey Eyboga);
  • Updated backgrounds and illustrations.

After the demo's release, the authors promise to listen to player feedback and make corresponding changes to the final product.
