Among the clearly pirated titles (e.g., Mega Man 8; Street Fighter Alpha 2) there’s also a disc whose cover, despite being smeared and low-res, shows the original’s red logo — you can practically squint it into focus.

The implication is cheeky: the Resident Evil franchise has, within its own fiction, copies of Resident Evil. A meta moment — or a tiny headache for continuity fans.
