In the MMORPG Neverwinter, a fix for a long-requested issue by players has been released.

In the MMORPG Neverwinter, players had long reported issues with the "Vile Blight" ability for the character Lissara. The developers repeatedly checked it, and while the mechanic itself was functioning correctly, a fundamental error was discovered: the ability was supposed to weaken enemy defenses, but the targets it was applied to simply lacked the necessary defense parameter. As a result, the ability didn't lower anything and, consequently, failed to activate its primary effect.

The issue was fixed in the latest update. Now "Vile Blight" works as intended: it weakens Lissara's enemies and strengthens her allies.

In addition, the patch reduced the number of required Thaumaturgic Research Tokens needed to upgrade artifact weapons to the "Celestial" level, added the ability to transfer the Dimensional Sprout between a player's own characters, and fixed a number of item-related bugs—from incorrect descriptions to potential undesirable gameplay exploits.

The full list of changes is available in the patch notes, but fans of Lissara can simply rejoice that her key ability has finally been fixed.
