Throne and Liberty Global Server Merges Scheduled for March 12th
Two major changes are coming to Throne and Liberty on March 12th: regions will be consolidated, and servers will be merged. The North American (East and West) and South American clusters will become a single "America" region based on Central Time. The developers have promised to adjust the event schedule to accommodate different time zones.
After the consolidation, players will be able to have up to six characters within the new region—all heroes from different accounts will be combined into one. Following this, server merging will begin: the final list and updated event schedule will be published one week before the start.
A separate fate awaits the platform-specific servers. All PlayStation worlds that become part of the American region will be merged into one common Sony server. It will remain the only one of its kind. In Europe and the APAC region, the "blue" (PlayStation) servers will lose their exclusivity and be integrated into the general infrastructure. A free transfer will be opened for those wishing to move to the dedicated American PS server.
The auction system will also change: in America, there will be two auctions (one for PlayStation and one for everyone else), while in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, there will be one each.
The official announcement also promises details on guilds, siege elections, rank resets, and other recalculations—some data will be completely wiped, while other parts will simply be recalculated.
