In summer or autumn, .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND will be released — the spiritual successor to Parasite Eve
The independent studio Sukeban Games, known to some players from the “Praise-worthy” visual novel VA-11 Hall-A, has given a rough release window for its next title. A recently released trailer suggests the tactical action RPG .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is aiming for this summer (or possibly fall).
The plot centers on Reila Mikazuchi — a walking arsenal trying to put herself on a different path while doing what she knows best. “The heroine has come a long way, fully aware of all the consequences, but is her real enemy really the one her gun is aimed at?” — reads the game’s blurb, leaving the moral angle intentionally slippery.
On the gameplay side, the title borrows heavily from Parasite Eve and its Active Time Action approach. Timing matters; so do positioning and skill chains. In short: expect a mix of planning and split-second choices — e.g., move, wait, then strike.
The developers highlight the main features of the project as:
- A deep, tactical combat system.
- Seven moody locations featuring varied encounters, NPC dialogue, and puzzles.
- Stylized lo-fi visuals built to sell a cyberpunk vibe.
- A narrative designed to pull you through the world.
For now, .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is announced only on PC (Steam: store page) and there’s no Russian localization listed. Also worth noting: Sukeban Games continues work on the spiritual successor to VA-11 Hall-A, N1RV Ann-A, but its release date is still TBA.
