Epic Games Store 2025 Results: 317 Million Users, $1.16 Billion, 100 Free Games...

Epic Games employees have published the traditional chart of their online store, designed to showcase the successes of 2025.

According to the statistics:

  • Over the past year, EGS had over 317 million PC users, which is 22 million more than in 2024.
  • Epic Games Store is used by an average of 78 million active customers monthly, a new record for the company (+6%).
  • A total of 972 million cross-platform accounts are registered in EGS (+8%).
  • Throughout 2025, players spent over $1.16 billion in EGS (+6%). Of this, $400 million came from third-party titles, which is 57% more compared to 2024.
  • In total, gamers spent 6.65 billion hours in games (-14%). Third-party titles account for 2.78 billion hours (+4%).
  • In 2025, the company offered 100 free games, which were downloaded over 662 million times.
  • 77% of the free games set a record for the number of downloads within a week.
  • The average rating of free games is 78%.
  • The total value of free games is $2,316 per player.
  • The Epic Games Store catalog now boasts over 6,000 games.
  • The Epic Games Store service has become even more attractive for developers. Since June 2025, studios keep 100% of their annual revenue up to one million dollars before the standard 88/12 split applies.
