In February, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will introduce mini-dungeons called Nightfall Crypts

In the February update for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, the development team will add the first in a series of "mini-dungeons" called Nightfall Crypts. The team has provided a description of these new, smaller-scale dungeons, their objectives, and other details about what we can expect.

Although they are called mini-dungeons, Nightfall Crypts will still be large enough for a group of one or two people to enter and complete quests inside. The team plans to place them in various locations throughout the world, each featuring different enemies, a unique boss, and numerous challenges along the way. They will be united by similar themes. Even to get inside, you will have to figure out a specific entry mechanic. There is no information yet on whether this will be the same for all dungeons.

Part of Visionary Realms' goal in creating these small dungeons is, of course, to add variety. The developers are offering alternatives to large, high-level dungeons, speeding up exploration, and allowing them to be completed in a single gaming session.

More detailed information about this feature will be released ahead of its scheduled launch next month.
